COUNSELING

I provide individual and family therapy for people ages 10 to 100.  

 

Sometimes people struggle with the decision to seek counseling.  They worry that it will be too hard, it won't help, or that it could be seen as a sign of weakness.  While I understand those worries, I believe that seeking help is a sign of strength.  Everyone needs support at one time or another in life.  People who go into therapy have enough self-awareness to see when they are in need of consultation and new tools.  You are taking responsibility for making a commitment to change the aspects of your life that aren't working for you.  That takes guts.  And I have seen that commitment make a difference for a wide variety of people.

 

CLINICAL SUPERVISION​

I offer individual and group supervision for social workers hoping to strengthen their practice skills.  I have been approved by the South Carolina Board of Social Work Examiners to supervise social workers seeking the LISW-CP level of licensure.  That level of licensure can greatly expand the jobs available to you, as well as your professional mobility.
